Europet (ET) Serie
PU/NC and PU solvent based ink seriesis especially designed for the works needed high lamination performance.
This serie includes the codes used for retord applications.TECHNICAL PROPERTIES
- According to the substrate heat resistance is between 200C-220C (4bar ,1 sn)
- Good ink transfer
- Does not contain TAA or Phtalate
- Lamination inks are suitable for solvent or solventless lamination applications
- High lamination resistance
PU/NC and PU solvent based ink seriesis especially designed for the works needed high lamination performance.
This serie includes the codes used for retord applications.
Substrates: OPP(**), chemical PET(*),physical PET
(*)Corona treated PET requires a minimum of 52 mN/m surface energy.,chemical type of PET requires a minimum of 56 mN/m surface energy
(**) These materials require a minimum of 38 mN/m surface energy.
Note: In retord applications, inks are subjected to steam cooking in autoclave between 124,5 C - 135 C. It is especially designed for BOPET material.
PRINTING REQUIREMENTS
Solvent Mixture for balancing vizcosity
- Flexo : Ethyl Alcohol/Ethyl Acetate 9:1
Drying Time Adjustments
- Accelerator : Ethyl Acetate
Retarder : Ethoxy Propanol or Methoxy Propanol
Solvent Mixture for balancing vizcosity
- Rotogravure :
For low speed machines : Ethyl Alcohol/Ethyl Acetate 1:1
For high speed machines : Ethyl Acetate
PRINTING CONSIDERATIONS
- The surface tension of the material to be used must be tested before printing. If necessary, the corona of the film should be improved.
- After printing, the bobbins should be kept at room temperature for 24 hours for curing to occur.
- If the machine speed and drying conditions are well adjusted, solvent residue in the printing is minimized.
SHELF LIFE
- The shelf life of ET series is 1 year in unopened packaging
- Shelf life of golds, imitation golds, silvers are 6 months in unopened packaging
- Shelf life of inks containing fanal pigments are 1 month.
